9395 Alternatieve set 2 . Alternative set build with 9395. Little detail 4 cylinder in the back and Ackermann steering. . This 9395 is a nice model with suitable amount and great variety of pieces for alternative models. This is my second one. I don't have this model myself but enough pieces to build it. I just collected all the pieces via bricklink and kept them separate. I am particular happy with the front grille. Side view. I am particular proud about the Ackermann-steering. I really regret that the 8860 set(year 1981) the first and last model is with Ackermann-steering. You immediately feel it when you drive around with this model. It is much smoother in the turns. It took me a while to get it to work. It triggered me to go this route when I wanted to make a wider car than the original set. I needed a wider solution for the steering. I also placed the turn point within the wheel for more precise steering and closer wheel holes. Back view, unfortunately this set doesn't contain enough parts for proper back lights. Funny detail is the placing of the engine in the back. Due to the ackermann-steering and the 'low' and short hood I couldn't get it in the front anymore. Enjoy!
