Classic Space: Scorpion Surface Exploration Vehicle SSEV . The Scorpion Surface Exploration Vehicle (SSEV) is one of the most advanced in the Classic Space fleet. . This Classic Space vehicle was designed to allow detailed exploration of wide areas surrounding the space base. With itís wide track, drive to all wheels, and riding on 20 low-pressure balloon tyres the unit has the ability to traverse any soft sandy surfaces and negotiate steep locations with ease. The crew of up to 5 is fully protected from the harsh space environment, and the wide array of sensors and powerful communications equipment allows rapid analyse of large areas and reporting back-to-base. The SSEV also provides additional operational flexibility with itís front robot arms which can be used to move large and heavy items. SSEV on the move. SSEV front and rear views. SSEV side and plan views. SSEV cockpit and command cabin interiors. Unlike most Classic Space vehicles, the SSEV has fully enclosed crew areas which provides greater comfort to them.
