Zistiam . A powerful and mysterious being with a range of dangerous abilities, Zistiam, the Master of Fusion, is a force to be reckoned with. . A member of Axonn's species, Zistiam naturally possesses abilities including healing and immense strength. However, after a confusingly meta experiment in which he fused the Spear of Fusion to himself, Zistiam gained fusion and fission powers. The red spikes on his back, which resemble the Spear of Fusion's blade, glow when these powers are activated. Being combined with an inanimate object had drawbacks, however: it rendered Zistiam blind and mute, so he wears an Arthron, Mask of Sonar, in the shape of a single plate of armor. Zistiam has a small cage or pod on his right arm within which he can store an item to use in fusion. Shown here is a vampiric squid from the Pit. If he finds some blades or shards of metal on the battlefield, Zistiam can fuse them to his fingers as sharp claws. Inika height comparison: Proof that Zistiam is built on an Inika torso with simple upper arms and legs: Part of my continued pseudoproject to build members of underrepresented official species. Check out Gavram, Calbus, and Dicalian if you're interested. This MOC initially began when for some odd reason I decided to stick V2 Osmur's legs onto the torso of Valsom (Inikabuild tablescrap). I later ended up just using Osmur's lower legs, so when I post the revamp of Osmur on MOCpages, the legs might seem familiar. Anyway, the proportions reminded me of Axonn, so I decided to build a member of his species. At some point the color scheme changed from black/silver/orange to black/silver/brown/white/transred, which actually works better on the MOC than it does in concept. Tell me what you think, though. Also my first serious MOC in a long time to use an Inika torso or simple upper arms and legs. I think it came out well regardless of simplicity.
