Trebuchet . Trebuchet. It is a medieval war equipment to through large heavy objects to crush castles . A trebuchet (French trébuchet) is a catapult that was used as a siege engine in the Middle Ages. It is sometimes called a counterweight trebuchet or counterpoise trebuchet, to distinguish it from an earlier weapon called the traction trebuchet, which employed pulling men working the mechanism. The counterweight trebuchet appeared in both Christian and Muslim lands around the Mediterranean in the 12th century. It could fling projectiles weighing up to 350 pounds (160 kg) at or into enemy fortifications. Its use continued into the 15th century, well after the introduction of gunpowder. After some tweeks it throws a projectile more than 7 meters! Size: Height: 43 cm Length: 52 cm Width: 17 cm parts: 1266 The counter weight basket is build for around 40 AA-batteries! However if you have another idea you can hang any weight at the end of the leverage. You only need to add some rope for the swing and a net-string 10x10 for the pouch. I couldn't find these items in MLcad. Building instructions are available here .
