Boeing 787 Engine . I've considered creating a minifigure-scaled version of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for some time now, and today I reveal the first part of the project- the engine. The engine isn't specific to either the Rolls Royce Trent 1000 or the General Electric GEnx, but a few stickers can change that. . Here a comparison with the Rolls Royce Trent 1000 used on the Dreamliner. Here another side view with and without the cover panels. I had a lot of space to play around with details inside, so it looks as accurate as possible. The following two images show the famed "chevrons" that were debuted on the 787 and the 747-8 engines. Not only do they reduce noise pollution, they look quite stylish at the same time. The final shot shows the engine without its casing. Here you can see that the interior of the engine is also as detailed as it gets. Leave a rating and a comment and stay tuned for more 787 updates!
