Guild: Average Gnomes!
Toa Infernum vs. Andrew the Jedi Ninja
-The Final Joust:
The various guilds have put on an impressive showing throughout the entire tournament and now the last day of the Tourney has arrived. Only one event left - The Final Joust. Build a MOC depicting the remaining knights competing for the greatest honor of all in Carthal’s spectacular jousting arena. Only one will emerge victorious! Feel free to use anything in your building arsenal to win the challenge.
Category: Serfs up!
Build a creation with a focus on the serfs in a medieval setting. What did these people do with their time aside from collecting muck? No size restrictions.
Now is the time for the final joust of this year’s Tourney! It was a great honor for Rego to be one chosen as one of the two competitors, the other being Sir Galvin of Mythron.
So on the day of the event hundreds of people (and other beings) gathered to witness the grand finale, two skilled jousters is a sight to behold. Many serfs and servants have been given the day off, as the day of the event has been declared a holiday. Even the sun seems to be leaning over the audience to watch the games, which are being held just outside the walls of Carthal, in Ared-Narcholath (the doorless tower in the common-speak). Ared-Narcholath is a tower built by the great elves of old, said to be door-less to contain the soul of an evil, powerful sorcerer’s body. The sorcerer was a great warlord, said to have almost gained control of all Mythron before he was defeated by the elves. His armor and axe-staff are displayed on a statue on top of the tower, which now watches over the games.
The lower levels of Ared-Narcholath.
What’s this?! One of Rego’s men seems to be stealing the ruby off the statue…
Not only serfs are at the event! These are the High King of Mythron’s Crown Knights, infinitely more skilled than your average Mythron grunt. Their leader, Malcus the Resolute, bears a white cape.
Uh, oh. Who let these clowns in? George and Halhi visit the event.
Who is this mysterious warrior?
Rego brought his personal military too. ;)
Overall shots. :)
Here is the leader of the Green Elves, descendents of the Great Elves of old. They still watch over the tower built by their ancestors, and are the gracious hosts of today’s event.
The statue is said to hold the sorcerers actual armor, enchanted to never rust.
My favorite part, the light-up function! I built in three light bricks, so with a push of the lever on the back all three light up! It lights up the windows on all three sides of tower!
One last shot. I really love how the irregular base came out. :)
I love how this MOC turned out! As soon as I heard the category I knew what I had to do, and my idea fit right into the Serf’s Up MA category! What do serfs do on their day off? Go see a joust!
I love the textures I was able to get on the tower, and the light-up function is so cool in real life! I also think the spotty foliage came out well, and the SNOT and angles on the tower came together well.
Alright, good luck Andrew! The Tourney has been an awesome contest, and I’m honored to have made it to the final round! Thanks to the judges, you made this a great contest! Thanks for viewing to everyone else! ;)
