TT Round 6: Andrew JN vs. Toa Infernum . Guild: Crimson Knights . The Tourney 2014
Toa Infernum vs. Andrew the Jedi Ninja
-The Final Joust:
The various guilds have put on an impressive showing throughout the entire tournament and now the last day of the Tourney has arrived. Only one event left - The Final Joust. Build a MOC depicting the remaining knights competing for the greatest honor of all in Carthal’s spectacular jousting arena. Only one will emerge victorious! Feel free to use anything in your building arsenal to win the challenge.
Avelese has made it to the final round of The Tourney, how fitting that the final challenge is a jousting tournament.
He knows that he's up against one of the best, and that beating him would be difficult.
Nonetheless, he would do his best, for Nerogue and the Crimson Knights were counting on him...
The two finalists lined up their horses and began to race at each other.
Who will win this final joust and thus the Tournament?...
First off, I'd like to thank all the judges for their time (and treasure) that they put into making this contest. This was really fun, and whoever wins I'm sure will be the right winner. Infy, great entry, may the best one win, and also it was an honor competing against you and all the other people and their entries. Now, onto the build!
The shields are David's that he printed on sticker paper stuff and put them on the shields from the chess set. Pretty neat huh?
Some people just don't know how to get along.... :P
Looks like a couple of orcs and elves came to the Tournament.
These tent things were difficult to make, but I think they came out great! The top can even come off too and there is a small seat and a place to hold the some weapons.
My tent and my squire.
The place where the royal people sit has a (roof maybe?) that can come off so you can see inside (and position the minifigs) better.
That's right, I incorporated the Mythron symbol! (Yes, I know its blocky, but it doesn't hurt for trying right?)
The Wall and Towers
The walls (even though I was going for a clean look) looked too bland so I added some vines with colorful berries to give a brighter and normal feel to the dark bley walls. I think it looks cool. Also, the window techniques on/in the walls are from AK_Brickster and a Lego® MBA set.
The towers came out great too! (minus the fact that they are a just bit square for me)
A cool shot.
That's right, there's a whole back to this build! It's the interior of one of the King's palaces. Neat huh?
I love how I was able to have these suits of armor in here, they helped add to this part of the build. The armor is from two of the fiercest warriors in the kingdom that the king himself defeated.
Some cool shots...
Yes, the window is in the correct spot, You can see all the way through the walls. (I forgot to take a photo showing that) :P
The throne, I'll show you how I made it.
I'm happy how I used the snakes for the throne. This throne is the best one I ever made (Actually the only one now that I think of it) :P
Here's the back of the towers.
A small alchemist room.
Ooh, a golden statue... (I think I've seen this before....)
Yay! TLG would be so proud of me for having catapults! (Or is it flick missiles that they like? Or is it both? o_O)
Putting the tiles on this build was difficult, considering how many tiles I had to build with. Thankfully, after about (No joking) 30 min. of trying to figure out the best way to do this, I came up with this design.
Some cool shots of Avelese (me) and possibly Rego (if Toa Infernum is fine with that, otherwise, just my opponent) :)
Thanks for looking! God Bless!
