Seaside Wall & Dock - Under Seige . A tall CCC wall along a beach, with an evil hoard attacking. . After making the "Ruin by the Sea", I was really fond of the beach effect. When it came time to make a castle wall for a MichLUG display, I knew I wanted to try an recreate that effect. However it wasn't enough to create the wall along the sea, I wanted to created a breach in the wall for a battle scence. Medieval displays are at a disadvantage, Train layouts have the trains to add motion, life, to the display. While a windmill and similar features can help, a battle scence can really do a lot to give the crowd something to look at. This wall made it's debut at MichLUG's display at the Motor City Comic Con in May 2004. It was there that these pictures were taken. If you are interested in building a wall to this standard, instructions are available.
