Y-Wing Version 2.0 . This is now my favorite MOC, with all the intricate details I had to cram into such a small scale. I hope you like it! . This is more of an evolutionary version than a new version. This a great ship, and has a kind of asthetic beauty that the movie version doesn't. I ordered some parts that I thought would make this particularly accurate. Just compare it to Version 1 to see what's been changed. Please enjoy, and let me know if you like it or not! A front undershot of the nose. I love this, as it feels as if the Y-Wing is roaring overhead. Due to copyright reasons, I cannot display the photo that I based this off of. Just wookiepedia the Y-Wing, you'll see what I was going for. The angle of the front of the nose, and the gray stripe around the ship is better portrayed here. This is another view of the front, you can see the attention to detail. Just another front shot. Above view of the Y-Wing. Closeup of the hull plating intact. I tried to follow the detail in the photo this is based off of. The maintenance hatch near the aft of the fuelage. I couldn't find any closeups of the aft, so I had to guess a little. I think it turned out well. I love this angle, the Y-Wing is much prettier with the hull plates, I never liked them until I saw it with them intact! Closeup of one of the engines. It is basically the same as the set, but colored like a brand new stock craft.
