My diorama . My diorama embedded in MALUG's layout for Duna Plaza LEGO Exhibition . This is my Town diorama, I’ve been building its various components for over a year now. This was the first time I had the opportunity to fully assemble it. The occasion was a LEGO Exhibition in Budapest. The whole layout is much bigger, my stuff is just 25% percent of it. A club member suggested that I integrate my vintage stuff into the modern era town by making it a movie shooting. I did some last minute building and came up with some “movie” MOCs. I think I will stick with this concept so I will build some more movie accessories eventually. The eight houses surrounding the square all have furnished shop(s), you can see the interior shots here, although several minor details have changed since I originally posted the houses. The biggest change is that the houses have full firewalls now, as opposed to only having the facade. (Thanks to my friend for a huge supply of red LEGO bricks.) Also, I hate the fixed sidewalks introduced with the Café Corner set, so I made them detachable. The houses would still fit perfectly in to a community layout based on the Café Corner.
