Atmospheric Recon Gunship/Infantry (ARG/I) . The ARG/I was built to be able to drop and pick-up troops under heavy suppresive fire. . After the Battle of Geonosis, the Republic noticed the exoensive cost for LAAT gunships. They needed something that could do the same objectives as the LAAT but less noticeable. EHE scientists came up with the ARG/I, also known as "Atmospheric Recon Gunship/Infantry." It was capable of troop transporting, but not as powerful as the LAATs. It was often used by the Republic in the extent of the clone wars, and often succesful. Statistics: Weapons Armanent: Four Turbolaser Repeater Blasters. Engines: Quad Ion Repulsorlift Engines, Also has a Hyperdrive which allows lightspeed. Crew: 1 pilot Cargo: Five Passengers, can be replaced by cargo. Other: Medbay. The front, not a favorite view in your rearview mirror.... The rear, and cargo hold. Rear ramp closed. Rear ramp open. Side doors closed. Side doors open/ Medbay, here shown carrying Commander Connor on board. Commentary: Well, this was just one of those mocs where you finish, and never seem to wanna stop. At first, I made a second cockpit where the medbay is, then fiddled with it for 'bout two hours, then I stopped for that day. Later, when I was cleaning our kitchen, I had this sudden inspiration to build a medbay. (and who say cleaning isn't useful?) The next morning, I was fiddling with it for about an hour and finally got it right. This went on to become one of my favorite mocs, and I am very proud of it. Estimated Build Time: 3.5 hours. Estimated Length: 32 Studs. Estimated Width: 30 Studs. Estimated pieces used: 150 pieces. Estimated Time posting: 45 minutes Well, thats about it. I like this moc, I hope you do too.
