Why?
Conceptcar . Technic Supercar. Inspired by the classic 8448 supercar but with contemporary design construction and style. . In this car I tried to build as many separate modules as possible. In the endresult engine, gearbox, front suspension, rearsuspension and bodywork can all be removed. Put the V12 engine in the front or rear and select front wheel or rear wheel drive. Because of the modularity it will be quite easy to make all kind of different cars with different suspensions, different looks, and all kind of other features. More pics can be found here. This is the chassis with all the main functions. The engine is placed in the front. This is the unibody frame to which all the other modules are connected. Engine can also be mounted in the back. View from behind. I added the small spoiler in the end to make it look a bit faster. Dual exhaust system. Basic interior with 2 toned seats and 5 speed gearbox + reverse. Sideview with the visible spoiler again on the back. Topview Transmission. Here you can manually select if you want the car to be front or rear wheel powered. Main modules For those interested to build this car, a 200 page, high quality .pdf is available for a small fee here. Some teasers of the instructions: And the BOM. If you want to know if you have all the pieces or if you miss a few, you can check it out at: Rebrickable.com
