Working Steering Instructions . For Dylan Denton, who asked me to do this ;^) . So, a little while ago I posted this on Flickr. Dylan Denton asked me post the instructions for the steering. Normally, I don't make instructions, but Dylan is a good friend so I made this page. First, put two torch holders on two upright bars. Then put a 1 by 4 plate on the bottom. Now put one of these ribbed pieces on top. Now assemble two tires in this order. Remember, make TWO tires. Now put the tires on the torch holders. Part list for steering wheel. Put a hinge on a 1 by 2 plate. Just like this. Now put a 1 by 2 technic brick with a hole in it one the hinge. Get a technic beam.... ...And place a ball hinge on it. Place it through the technic brick on the hinge. Now put a technic bushel the rod, but not tightly. This is only to hold the rod in place. Now put a technic worm gear on the end of the rod. Put the steering wheel and wheels on a base and begin to build a car! Maybe even a hotrod, like this one. It's a bit fragile, but make sure you push the hinge down so it contacts the gear. Enjoy!
