Selective Fire Tri Barrel Rubber Band Gun (RBG) . a selective fire rubber band gun with a capacity of 24 rounds, and a very quick loading time. . this is a RBG with a 24 round capacity. the loading time is amazingly fast for the capacity - under 2 minutes! ther is a video here that explains most of what i say below the gun works by having each RB hooked onto its own peg. these pegs go along the top of the gun, so this means that to get a roughly equal range for each band, there are 3 different places where you hook the other end. the grey pegs remind you when to change barrel. when the gun fires, a sloped piece is moved along the line of pegs, and so each band is literally lifted off its peg. the sloped piece is moved by you pulling back a handle on the side (the gun is ambidextrous, so there is one on each side). the 'selective fire' bit comes from the fact that the more you pull the handle back, the more the gun shoots, so you can fire as many bands as you like at one time! it is a very basic mechanism, with only one moving part, so anyone can make one! it also is a very versatile gun, with its 'selective fire' and very quick reloading time (for an RBG). pics: side view top view mechanism close-up (the black bit is the bit that moves backward) looking down the 'sights' close-up side view, loaded side view, slider fully back another view of the mechanism well thats about it - tell me what you think!
