Mini Tony the Tiger . Mini Tony the Tiger sculpture built to support the Kellogg's Cereal City project . This is the 2ft tall 1/3rd scale version of Tony the Tiger that I constructed to support the 2005 Kellogg's Cereal City (KCC) Summer Block Party sculpture project. The purpose of this model was two-fold. First I needed to gain experience in sculpting organic forms (I had none) and secondly the model served as a proportion and pose guide in constructing the full sized 6ft tall model of Tony that we delivered to KCC. The model took more than two weeks to build (out of the three months we had to deliver the entire project) as I had to iterate the overall proportions a number of times. It would have been impossible to do this with the full sized model given the time constraints. Click here for more information on how we built Tony the Tiger
